After four years in Naval Intelligence during the Koren Conflict, thirty years with IBM, four years as Executive Director of
the Auburndale Chamber of Commerce, several years consulting with American companies starting up in China, and five
years instructing in the graduate school of business at Webber International University, I took up writing as an avocation.
Along the way, I managed to earn a Bachelor of Professional Studies and a Master of Business Administration at Pace
University of New York. Later, Webber University conferred an honorary Doctor of Business Administration degree for
my work there.
Nowadays, I spend six months at my home in Florida and six months in a cabin atop Great North Mountain, Gore, Virginia.
I travel a lot, having worked in or visited more than 40 countries around the world.
